Can specialists see the controlling source version at work time?
Observe source links, version labels, access results, and the record used for completed work.

Research question: For eligible cases, how often can a reviewer reconstruct the exact instruction version visible when the work was performed?
Scope: eight weekly samples from one process across its approved repository, workflow links, and documented backup surface, with the inventory and sampling frame fixed first.
Methodology: Retain work time, source URL, displayed version, effective date, access result, copied status, and later correction. Compare the observed source with the approved version effective at that time.
Unit of analysis: one eligible completed case paired with the instruction surface used at work time. Stable identifiers keep replies, edits, and repeated checks from inflating the denominator.
Classification: current version traceable, valid prior version, stale version, label absent, source inaccessible, copied source unlinked, multiple sources, or untraceable.
Measures: counts and denominators, traceability and mismatch proportions, mismatch duration, affected cases, missing data, and correction direction. Report raw counts beside proportions and describe missingness.
Validation: A second reviewer reconstructs cases around effective-date boundaries and checks a random sample against repository history and permitted access logs.
Operating boundary: A Philippines-based specialist may collect permitted records and apply the frozen codebook. Named internal owners retain privacy, security, legal, financial, employment, policy, and customer-remedy decisions.
Data handling: Use named accounts, minimum necessary fields, documented retention, and de-identified reporting where practical. Register exclusions before reviewing outcomes.
Inference boundaries: Findings describe visibility and observed mismatch. They cannot establish that an instruction caused an outcome or that a worker knowingly used stale material.
Limitations: Caches and local copies may leave no log, access logs may be incomplete, weekly sampling may miss short exposures, and effective times may be ambiguous.
Conclusion: Fix source labeling and traceability gaps before drawing conclusions about compliance or work quality.
